Films in Post Production:

Adam Rose can be seen acting in the upcoming Kenneth Lonergan feature “Margaret”. The incredible cast includes Mark Ruffalo, Anna Paquin, Matt Damon, Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno and Allison Janney. Congrats!

Mike Bennt recently performed in the feature “Final Sale”. Congratulations.

Actress/ Producer/ Writer Bryce Dallas Howard has just wrapped on the project “Live With It”, also starring Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anna Kendrick. Congrats!

Films in Production:

Director, Anne Renton, and actor, Jason Ritter, are currently filming “The Perfect Family” with Emily Deschanel and Kathleen Turner. Kudos to all of you, including Paula Goldberg and Claire Riley for writing a beautiful script.

Kiwi Smith, Karen McCullah Lutz and Janet Evanovich, writers of “One for the Money”, must be very proud. Their newest project is currently filming in Pennsylvania. Congrats!

Filmmaking 1 Lab in Los Angeles will start Wednesday, June 23 and end Wednesday, July 28. 

 
Films in Post Production:

Director Peter Odiorne, writer Gail Gilchriest, producer Justin Moore-Lewy, and actor Keith David just wrapped principal photography on “The Greening of Whitney Brown,” also known as “Destination:Home.” Way to go all!

Mike Mills new film, “Beginners” executive produced by Joan Scheckel, starring Ewan McGreggor and Christopher Plummer, features Kai Lennox and is now in Post!!

Writer/Actor Jason Lew and producer/actor Bryce Dallas Howard must be ecstatic! Their newest project, “The Untitled Gus Van Sant Project” formerly “Restless” (based on Jason’s play “Of Winter and Waterbirds”) has just wrapped filming in Oregon.

Seth Gabel can be seen acting in the upcoming Michael Dowse’s “Kids in America”.

Francois Alaux and Herve De Crecy recently finished directing their futuristic short, written by Tim Sexton. We can’t wait to see it!

More congrats to Bryce Dallas Howard who finished playing a vampire in the mega series “Twilight’s” third installment “Eclipse” out later this year. Next she will star in  Clint Eastwood’s “Hereafter” with Matt Damon, produced by Steven Speilberg.

Actress O-Lan Jonesnewest project “Queens of Country” just went into post.

Malcolm Venville has begun directing the Sacha Gervasi scribed “Henry’s Crime,” starring Keanu Reeves, in NYC. Good wishes.

Miranda July will be directing her newest feature “The Future”. Congrats to her and producer Gina Kwon.

Richard Press’ new documentary, Bill Cunningham New York, will be screening at the opening night of the New Directors/New Films 2010 Festival presented by the Museum of Modern Art. Congrats!!

Giant Congratulations to all the filmmakers and actors in our community with films World Premiering at Sundance!

Welcome to the Rileys”, directed by Jake Scott, starring James Gandolfini, Kristen Stewart and Melissa Leo is screening in the U.S. Dramatic Competition. The film also features Jack Moore

Also making it’s debut in the U.S. Dramatic Competition is Mark Ruffalo’s “ Sympathy for Delicious”, starring Orlando Bloom, Juliette Lewis, Laura Linney and featuring Erin Way

We hope 2010 is as fortunate for all as it is for Jeffrey Blitz (Director) and Marc Turtletaub (Producer) with their film “Lucky,” screening in the U.S. Documentary Competition. 

Kudos  to Floria Sigismondi’s “The Runaways” in the Premieres category.

Marisa Tomei can be seen starring in another Premieres category film “Cyrus” directed by the Duplass Brothers also with John C. Reilly and Catherine Keener. 

Robyn Kershaw produced “Bran Nue Dae”, directed by Rachel Perkins, makes it’s U.S. premiere in the Spotlight section.  Up next for Robyn will be producing  “Virgin Ground” written and directed by “Renee Webster.” 

Go Dakota Goldhor, who is starring in Benny and Josh Safdie’s “Daddy Longlegs” also screening in the Spotlight section. 

Alison Maclean has the honor of being on the 2010 World Cinema Dramatic Competition Jury. Have fun Alison!

Marianna Palka has been selected to be on the jury for the Alfred P. Sloan award at Sundance 2010. Enjoy the snow Marianna!
